According to Jin10, Dongbai Group said its wholly owned subsidiary Dongbai Chuangzhi plans to acquire a 52.6667% stake in Hangzhou Kuailing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. for a provisional consideration of 316 million yuan. After the deal closes, Kuailing Optoelectronics and its subsidiary Guangte Technology will be included in the company's consolidated financial statements. The target company mainly develops, produces, and sells photodetection chips, with revenue of 39.7613 million yuan in 2025 and 34.8693 million yuan in January-August 2026, and net losses of 15.0722 million yuan and 2.517 million yuan, respectively. It said most of its revenue in optical communications currently comes from low-speed products, while commercialization of high-speed products may be hindered by weak product reliability, poor performance, or insufficient capacity for large-scale production. Dongbai Group said it currently has no related business or technical staff reserves, and the transaction carries risks from cross-industry operations and integration management.
