Bitcoin has put in a 0.5% gain over the past 16 hours, holding just above the 20-period mean while still sitting 5% under its recent high and below the 50-period average. Relative strength picked up from 42.9 to 47.9 in the last day, confirming the bounce but not yet indicating real momentum. The price remains only 3.3% off the local lows, still below the midpoint of the range and well under 84116.6 which would be needed to claim a major recovery.
Ethereum edged up 0.6% since the last note and sits flat on the 20-period mean, but it remains almost 11% below its local top and 4.3% above range lows. Relative strength improved from deeply oversold, rising from 33.0 to 40.0, but the overall trend is still capped by the 50-period at 2612.71. Both pairs are above their short-term averages but under longer-term levels, with the last day’s rebound not yet enough to flip the broader trend.
