While most large caps bled this week, Hyperliquid's token barely flinched.
$HYPE is down about 4.4% over seven days, per CoinGecko, compared with about 9% for ether and around 11% for Solana. It trades near $85.7, only about 12% under its September 23 record. Citrini Research also listed Hyperliquid in its tokenization basket as the dominant onchain perps platform, per CoinDesk, alongside a Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF in its stock list.
My view: relative strength during a leverage flush says traders still see the venue as core infrastructure. The risk is that crowded leverage on one platform cuts both ways.
💬 Is Hyperliquid now a blue chip, or still a high-beta bet?
