Long positions on ether wereLiquidations were largest on Ether (ETH) at $311 million and over twice as high for Bitcoin at $238 million. 0 After a few of the tankers were attacked, Oil prices surged and bond yields stayed the same, and AI mining stocks were hammered (down 9%).
What is happening here? This isn't only crypto. This just seems much more like a macro driven leverage event shakeout. Bitcoin still (just) negative for the year.
And when markets get bumpy like this, private infrastructure – such as iExec's confidential compute ($RLC) begins to look more and more appealing.
