Two Problems. Same Cryptography. 🔐
I've been thinking about how differently zero-knowledge technology can be applied.
With ecosystems such as $ZEC , the conversation naturally centers around privacy.
But Space and Time shows another side of the equation.
Not:
"Can I hide this information?"
But:
"Can I prove this computation was correct?"
That's a completely different infrastructure problem.
Proof of SQL allows computation over committed data to be verified cryptographically without asking the application to simply trust whoever produced the result.
Privacy protects information.
Verifiable computation protects confidence in what was done with information.
Same broad cryptographic revolution.
Very different jobs.
