From Digital Collectibles to Boba Shops

Pudgy Penguins has taken a notable step beyond the blockchain, striking its first quick-serve restaurant partnership with Kung Fu Tea. The collaboration, which went live on October 1, 2026, spans 330 participating Kung Fu Tea locations across the United States, bringing the brand's characters into everyday consumer culture for the first time at this scale.

At the center of the activation are two limited-edition drinks inspired by the brand's beloved "Collector Couple," Pax Pengu and Polly. Pengu's Better Together Milk Tea, inspired by Pax Pengu, combines Earl Grey milk tea with brown sugar boba. Polly's Sweetheart Slush blends strawberry and Oreo topping into a slush inspired by Polly. Both items are available for a limited run through mid-October.

Collectibles, TCG Cards, and a Comic Con Moment

The partnership also makes Kung Fu Tea the global launch destination for Pudgy Penguins' Little Treats Blind Boxes, a collectible series that had a limited release at San Diego Comic-Con in August. Fans can get exclusive first-look access to the blind boxes at 100 participating Kung Fu Tea locations nationwide.

Guests who purchase a featured Pudgy Penguins drink can receive an exclusive VIBES by Pudgy Penguins collectible trading card. The Afternoon Breeze promo card was distributed at the collaboration's launch. Vibes is a physical and digital trading card game built on the Pudgy Penguins IP and developed by Orange Cap Games.

From October 8 to 11, fans can discover Pudgy Penguins at New York Comic Con at booth 2821, powered by Walmart. Qualifying Little Treats Blind Box purchases at the booth come with an exclusive Kung Fu Tea buy-one-get-one voucher, redeemable at participating New York City stores during Comic Con weekend.

The move signals a broader push by Pudgy Penguins to embed its characters into physical retail and everyday consumer touchpoints, a strategy the brand has been building across plush, fashion, beauty, and entertainment.
