$CCD AI agents can already pay for APIs, data and other services through x402. But payment alone doesn’t answer the accountability question: who is actually behind the agent? That’s the part of Concordium I find fascinating. Its identity layer can link an agent to a verified human or business, while Zero-Knowledge Proofs can protect the underlying personal information. Concordium’s x402 integration brings that identity layer into the payment flow. So the roles are clear: x402 handles the payment. Concordium handles identity and accountability. For autonomous payments to move beyond experiments, I think both pieces matter.
