$BTC Bitcoin just ripped 10%+ in a week, then hit the brakes at $83K. Is this a pause or a trap?

Last week, BTC pushed to ~$86.6K, its highest since January, as over $770M in liquidations hit in 24 hours, about 85% of them shorts getting squeezed.

Fundstrat's digital assets head called the breakout credible and said crypto winter may be over, though he warned the path higher won't be a straight line.

Today's pullback tells that story: BTC is back near $83K, $ETH is holding around $2.6K–$2.7K, and the Fear & Greed Index sits at 63 (Greed). Rate-hike worries are still weighing on sentiment.

Still, BTC is roughly 34% below its October 2025 high near $126K.
