🚀 A New Crypto Coin Just Launched? Don’t Buy It Immediately!
When a new coin launches, many people jump in because of FOMO. But the first few hours or days can come with extreme volatility.
Before buying a newly launched token, check these things first 👇
🔎 1. Research the Project
Read the whitepaper, check the official website, team, use case, and tokenomics.
📊 2. Check Where It’s Listed
Is it trading on a CEX or DEX? Which exchanges support it? How strong is the liquidity?
💰 3. Check Market Cap & Supply
Don’t assume a coin is “cheap” just because its price is low. Look at the circulating supply, total supply, and FDV.
🐋 4. Check Holder Distribution
If a small number of wallets hold a huge percentage of the supply, there may be a higher risk of large sell-offs.
📈 5. Watch Volume & Liquidity
Look at trading volume and make sure there is enough liquidity to enter or exit without major price impact.
🛡️ 6. Verify the Contract Address
Especially with DEX tokens, always verify the contract address through an official source. Fake tokens and scams are common.
🧠 7. Don’t FOMO
A token pumping quickly doesn’t automatically mean you need to buy it right now.
💵 8. Manage Your Risk
Never put money into a newly launched token that you cannot afford to lose.
⚠️ Most importantly:
A coin being newly launched does not automatically make it a good investment.
DYOR = Do Your Own Research.
Research → Understand the Risk → Make a Plan → Then Decide.
