$CGPT — Tokenomics & Utility

is the native utility/governance token of ChainGPT, a Web3-focused AI ecosystem.

🪙 Tokenomics

The current official documentation states a 1B maximum/total supply.

🔥 Burn mechanism — important

This is one of CGPT's more interesting tokenomic features.

According to ChainGPT's current documentation:

50% of Chatbot & AI-tool fees → burned

50% of NFT Generator fees → burned

1% of ChainGPT Pad raise → CGPT buyback/burn

10% of B2B white-label transaction value → buyback/burn

20% of ChainGPT NFT sales → buyback/burn

So the thesis isn't simply "AI narrative = CGPT." There is an attempt to connect actual platform usage → fees → token demand/burn.

⚙️ Utility

1. AI usage

CGPT can be converted into CGPT Credits (CGPTc) to pay for AI services. Examples include:

Web3 AI chatbot

Smart-contract generator

Smart-contract auditor

AI News SDK

NFT generation

The platform currently uses a credit system where 1 CGPTc = $0.01.

2. Staking

Staking CGPT provides tier/permission benefits and can provide enhanced access to ChainGPT AI tools. Staked CGPT also generates CGPTsp, which contributes to tier eligibility and governance.

3. Governance

CGPT is used for participation in ChainGPT DAO governance.

4. ChainGPT Pad

Staking CGPT can provide higher tiers and potential allocation/access benefits for projects launching through ChainGPT Pad.

5. API / SDK ecosystem

Developers and businesses can use ChainGPT's API/SDK infrastructure, with CGPT integrated into the broader economic model.

6. Future AIVM utility

ChainGPT documentation says CGPT is intended to support marketplace and gas-fee functionality for its AIVM infrastructure once launched.

🧠 My breakdown

Tokenomics: 8.3/10

Utility: 9.0/10

Deflationary mechanics: 8.8/10

AI narrative: 9.0/10

The big question for CGPT isn't utility—it clearly has multiple utilities. The bigger question is whether ChainGPT's actual AI/API usage grows enough to create meaningful recurring demand and burns for the token. That makes CGPT particularly interesting.
