A quick TRON network update to start the day 👀
TRONSCAN has announced that TRON has now surpassed 405 million total accounts.
At the time of the latest update, total accounts were around 405.45M, with roughly 157K new accounts added in the latest 24-hour period. Active accounts were also around 4.67M.
TRON has now processed more than 15.57 billion transactions in total, with around 11.8 million transactions added over the latest 24 hours.
One thing worth keeping in mind though:
405 million accounts does not mean 405 million individual users.
One person can control multiple accounts, so this is better viewed as a network growth metric rather than a direct user count.
For me, that makes the milestone more useful, not less.
The interesting question now is whether actual network activity can keep growing alongside the number of accounts.
405M is already a big number.
