Ethereum Value Hits $2,777 as Bitcoin’s $86K Breakout Fuels Overbought Rally.

$ETH is trading around $2,777 after Bitcoin’s move toward $86K helped push the broader crypto market higher.
The bigger trend still looks bullish. ETH is holding above the EMA20, EMA50 and EMA200, which keeps the overall structure positive.
But there’s one thing I’m watching closely: momentum is getting stretched.
Daily RSI is around 72, while the 1H RSI is also above 72. ETH is even trading above the daily upper Bollinger Band. That doesn’t mean a reversal has to happen, but it does make chasing the move at current levels riskier.
The shorter timeframe is already showing some cooling. The 15M MACD has turned bearish, while the larger timeframes are still holding their bullish structure.
Levels I’m Watching
Resistance: $2,800–$2,842
Support: $2,742 / $2,678
Major trend support: $2,513
If ETH holds the $2,742–$2,678 area and momentum picks up again, another push toward $2,800+ could follow.
On the other hand, losing those supports could lead to a deeper pullback.
For now, I’m bullish on the bigger trend but cautious about chasing the current move. A short consolidation or pullback would make the setup more interesting.
