🚨🤖 ONE ATTACKER. TWO AI-CRYPTO PROJECTS. NEARLY $2 MILLION STOLEN. 💰💥

Security firms Blockaid and PeckShield have linked two September 19 exploits to the same attacker. 🕵️‍♂️🔗

🔴 Fetch.ai: Approximately 8.7 million FET drained—worth around $1.53 million. 💸

🔴 NuNet: 408.5 million unauthorized $NTX minted through its deployer account—worth roughly $463,000. 🪙⚠️

The key connection? 🔍👇

The wallet that received the stolen FET was reportedly used in the unauthorized $NTX mint. 👛🔗

The attacker then converted much of the stolen value into approximately 546 $ETH—around $1.44 million. 🔄💎

Markets reacted immediately: 📊🔥

📉 $NTX reportedly crashed by as much as 65–70%
📉 $FET declined approximately 10%

Blockaid published the suspected wallet addresses so exchanges and other projects can flag further movement of the funds. 🚫👀

⚠️ Neither Fetch.ai nor NuNet had issued an official statement at the time of reporting. Users should remain cautious until the teams confirm the cause, scope and safety of their platforms. 🛡️⏳

The bigger lesson? 🤔

Adding “AI” to a crypto project does not automatically make its infrastructure intelligent—or secure. 🤖❌🔐

Smart-contract permissions, deployer keys and privileged access remain critical points of failure. One compromised or misused account can drain funds, mint unauthorized tokens and destroy market confidence within minutes. ⛓️💣📉

In crypto, innovation attracts attention. 🚀✨

Security earns trust. 🔐🤝

Do you think AI-crypto projects receive enough independent security scrutiny before launching their tokens? 👇💬
