Hyperliquid announces the launch of manual borrows
#Hyperliquid has launched manual lending and borrowing, enabling users to use $HYPE and $BTC as collateral to borrow assets such as $USDC and $USDT . Borrowers pay interest to suppliers at utilization-based rates. The feature uses the same #HyperCore infrastructure as portfolio margin and recorded $269M in borrowed assets on its first day.
Hyperliquid co-founder Jeff Yan said Hyperliquid’s modular design separates lending risks while integrating lending with trading through portfolio margin, allowing idle stablecoins to earn interest.
