Stainless steel and titanium can both provide strong physical protection when the construction is sound. Neither material prevents an incorrect transcription, ambiguous word order or a storage plan that puts the signer and backup in the same failure location.
Use a disposable wallet to test the complete procedure before recording a live recovery secret. Restore the disposable phrase, confirm the same public address and complete a harmless receive-and-sign test. Never photograph, upload or paste a live phrase into an online validator.
