Hyperliquid’s RWA activity has reached a pretty interesting milestone.
Between July 13 and July 19, 2026, RWA markets generated $25.1B in weekly volume, representing 52% of Hyperliquid’s $48.2B total volume. That was the first week where RWA trading became larger than all other asset categories combined. With HIP-3 expanding the range of on-chain perpetual markets and tokenized assets gaining more attention, the connection between traditional finance and DeFi is becoming increasingly visible.
The FOMC adds another layer to the story because changes in monetary policy can influence yields, liquidity and overall risk appetite. For me, the bigger question is whether this RWA activity can remain a meaningful part of on-chain markets beyond a single strong period. BingX is one platform I’ll be keeping an eye on as this space develops, while $HYPE remains closely connected to the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
