The Web3 Infrastructure Gap Nobody Is Talking About

Markets don’t always reward the best product first.

They reward the product people understand, remember, and trust.

That’s why Glacis Labs caught my attention.

Its ZeroDelta protocol is positioning itself as a multichain clearing layer for digital assets, operating across 40+ chains and targeting a problem that becomes more important as crypto scales: fragmented liquidity and inefficient settlement.

In July 2026, Glacis raised $6.8M led by Lightspeed Faction, with participation from Franklin Templeton and Coinbase Ventures.

There’s an interesting psychological gap here:

Institutional grade infrastructure.
Institutional grade backers.
$1B+ reported lifetime settlement volume.
Yet relatively low public visibility.

And that matters.

Crypto has spent years explaining bridges.

But institutions ultimately care about something bigger:

Can assets move efficiently, settle reliably, and become usable across fragmented markets?

That is where clearing becomes strategically interesting.

If ZeroDelta can deliver better execution, settlement and capital efficiency at scale, Glacis may not simply be building another interoperability product.

It may be positioning itself inside a category that barely has a name yet.

The bigger challenge is distribution.

Investor logos should become ecosystem relationships.
Product metrics should become proof.
Founder experience should become thought leadership.
Technical infrastructure should become a narrative the market can understand.

Because attention isn’t the same as adoption.

My strategic score:

• Product: 8.5/10
• Technology: 8/10
• Marketing: 2.5/10
• Distribution: 3/10
• Growth: 4.5/10
• CMO Opportunity: 9.5/10

My thesis?

Glacis may not have a product problem. It may have a perception gap.

And some of the biggest Web3 opportunities emerge exactly where product quality is ahead of market awareness.
