$BTC failed to break $80K and slipped below $78K, showing weaker momentum.
The key issue now isn’t just a pullback—it’s fund flow. US spot BTC ETFs recorded about $201.9M in outflows on Aug 28, ending a 9-day inflow streak.
$80K remains the key resistance, while $77K is the critical support. Holding $77K could keep BTC in consolidation and set up another attempt at $80K; losing it could open the way toward $75K.
BTC’s correlation with gold is also strengthening, while its Nasdaq correlation has weakened.
For now, I wouldn’t chase. Watch whether ETF inflows return and whether buyers defend $77K–$75K.
