I’ve been looking at Dusk differently lately.
At first, I saw it as another blockchain trying to solve privacy. But the more I dig into the architecture, the more interesting the bigger idea becomes.
Dusk is a Layer-1 built around financial applications, with the Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard and confidential smart contracts at the center.
What catches my attention is the balance between privacy and usability.
Financial markets don’t necessarily need everything hidden. They need the right information to be visible to the right participants at the right time.
That’s where I think Dusk gets interesting.
If privacy can be programmable rather than simply “on” or “off,” blockchain-based financial infrastructure could start working much closer to how real markets operate.
I’m watching Dusk not just as a privacy project, but as an experiment in making confidentiality part of the underlying financial architecture.
