RWAs Need More Than Tokenization

Putting a real-world asset on a blockchain is only the beginning. The harder question is whether that asset can actually operate within regulated financial markets.

That is where Dusk takes a different approach.

• Compliance is built into the workflow: Dusk supports eligibility rules, controlled transfers, identity checks and selective disclosure rather than treating regulation as an afterthought.

• Privacy matters: Through zero-knowledge technology and confidential transfers, sensitive financial information can remain private while still allowing appropriate disclosure for regulators or authorized parties.

• Settlement becomes part of the design: Dusk focuses on deterministic settlement and coordinated asset/payment workflows, helping reduce fragmented processes around issuance, trading and settlement.

• Tokenization can cover the full lifecycle: Dusk’s infrastructure is designed around issuance, investor onboarding, transfers, servicing and settlement—not simply creating another token.

For me, this is the more interesting side of $DUSK : the goal is not tokenization for its own sake, but building infrastructure where regulated assets can function onchain.

Can blockchain make real-world markets more efficient without sacrificing privacy and compliance?
