Weekly Market Recap: Crypto, Gold, Silver & Oil
The past week was an interesting one across major markets.
Bitcoin 🟠
$
Bitcoin had one of its strongest weekly moves in years, rising roughly 20% and trading above $76K. A weaker U.S. dollar, U.S. Treasury buyback plans, and growing optimism around crypto regulation helped push sentiment higher.
Gold 🟡
Gold also had a strong week, gaining more than 5% and reaching around $4,624/oz on Friday. The weaker dollar and concerns around U.S. debt and monetary policy continued to support demand for gold.
Silver ⚪
Silver followed gold higher, reaching around $69.62/oz on Friday. Precious metals benefited from the same weaker-dollar and risk-hedging themes that supported gold.
Oil 🛢️
Oil remained elevated as geopolitical tensions continued to create concerns about supply. Brent crude stayed around the $94/barrel area and gained more than 5% over the week.
My takeaway:
It was a week where both Bitcoin and traditional safe-haven assets attracted attention. The common themes were a weaker dollar, U.S. fiscal concerns and geopolitical risk — although each market had its own individual catalyst.
What do you think will perform better next week: BTC, Gold, Silver or Oil? 👇
