BITCOIN: $80K NEXT OR PULLBACK FIRST?

Bitcoin is having one of its strongest runs of 2026.
Currently trading around $78,400 after tagging ∼$79,500 earlier.

What’s driving the rally?
1. ETF demand is back
U.S. Spot BTC ETFs saw ~*$1.6B* in net inflows Mon–Thu. Thursday alone hit *∼$606M* — the biggest single day since May.

2. Treasury + Dollar setup
The U.S. Treasury announced bigger long-term bond buybacks. That moved yields and the dollar, which supports the “hard assets” trade. Bitcoin is part of that.

3. Regulation tailwind
The Trump administration is still pushing for clearer U.S. crypto rules. More clarity = more confidence.

4. Short squeeze
Billions in crypto shorts got liquidated during this move. That added fuel.

The key risk
Jackson Hole + Fed policy.
If the Fed sounds hawkish, we’ll likely see profit-taking and volatility.

4H Technicals

- Price: $78,400
- MAs: MA5 $77,140 | MA10 $75,030 | MA20 $70,910
- Structure: Price > MA5 > MA10 > MA20 = Bullish
- MACD: Bullish
- KDJ: Elevated

We’re now pressing the major $79.5K – $80K resistance zone.

My Trade Plan

🟢 Preferred Long: $76,500 – $77,300
🛑 SL: $74,700
🎯 TP1: $79,400 | TP2: $81,500 | TP3: $84,500

I’m not chasing at $78K+.

If BTC breaks $80K and retests it as support, the next targets become $82K → $85K → $88K.

Bottom Line

Fundamentals:Bullish
Trend: Bullish
Momentum: Strong, but overheated
Key Resistance: $79.5K – $80K

Best strategy: Wait for a pullback to $76.5K–$77.3K, or wait for a confirmed breakout above $80K.

The biggest mistake here is FOMO.
Bitcoin can stay bullish and still give you a better entry.
