The more I look at DeFi lending, the more I think time matters almost as much as price.

A floating interest rate tells you what borrowing costs look like today.

But what happens next week or next month?

That uncertainty can make it difficult to plan a strategy around a specific time horizon.

TermMax takes a different approach by bringing fixed-rate and fixed-term lending into DeFi.

The interesting part isn’t simply having a fixed rate.

It’s being able to understand the cost of capital before entering a position and plan around a defined maturity.

That creates a different way to think about borrowing in DeFi.

Now the bigger question is whether this model can achieve enough liquidity and adoption to become a meaningful lending primitive.

That’s what I’ll be watching.
