Last year I put my money in a high "APY pool" where in the 1st week I got 30% and last week I got 3.2%.
then I found @TermMax
The biggest problem in crypto is that interest rate or APY changed daily and to coop with this @TermMax has the solution by providing a fixed rate Defi.
For example if you want to lock your funds for some period of time e.g..3 months 6, 9 or 12 months you know the exact amount of return which you get on maturity rather than the traditional system which works on a daily basis and your APR changes daily.
we say term max in one sentence
It's safe and it's predictable.
Because you know on the very first day what you've got on maturity.

Then I found @TermMax

At first I thought of a fixed rate in crypto? sounds boring.
Here’s how it actually works, without the whitepaper jargon:

1. You deposit. Let’s say 1000 USDC for 90 days.
2. The protocol splits it. Part becomes Principal Token - FT. Part becomes Interest Token - XT.
3. That interesting part gets priced through something called a Range Order Curve. Fancy name, but basically it just finds a fair fixed rate for everyone.
4. Your debt is tracked by a GT token. So everything is on-chain and transparent.
5. On day 90, you get back your principal + the interest you locked in on day 1. Even if the market went crazy in between.

The rate doesn’t move. At all.

For me as a lender, this means I can finally plan.
Okay 90 days 7.5% locked. Cool.
No more checking telegram every 2 hours.

For borrowers, it’s even bigger. Imagine taking a loan and knowing your repayment won’t suddenly 2x because market volatility. You can actually build a strategy.

DeFi needs to grow up. And to grow up, it needs predictability.

@TermMax is the first protocol I’ve seen that actually delivers that without making it complicated.

Would you lock your rate for 90 days if you could?
What fixed rate would make you comfortable right now?
