Independence Day of Indonesia

Indonesia celebrates its Independence Day every year on 17 August. This day commemorates Indonesia’s proclamation of independence in 1945, when the nation declared itself free from colonial rule. It is one of the most important national celebrations in Indonesia. People proudly display the red-and-white Indonesian flag, and schools, offices, and communities organize flag-hoisting ceremonies, parades, cultural programs, and traditional games.

Independence Day is also a time to remember and honor the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of Indonesia. The celebration teaches people the values of unity, courage, patriotism, and love for their country. It brings Indonesians together and reminds everyone of their responsibility to protect and develop the nation. Happy Independence Day, Indonesia! 🇮🇩@Eggtartcake
