There is a point where you stop asking, “How much did I lose?”
And you start asking:
“What happened?”
For me, that point came around April 29–30.
What publicly became a story about approximately $24 USDT became something much larger in my life: a 103-day journey through blockchain transactions, wallets, ecosystems, AI, documentation, creativity, frustration, recovery, and education.
I didn't begin the journey as an investigator.
I became one because I needed answers.

I Wasn't Looking for a 100X
When I first started learning crypto, I wasn't looking for some magical shortcut.
I wanted to understand the technology.
I wanted to understand wallets.
I wanted to understand assets.
I wanted to understand why things moved the way they moved.
I learned through observation, experimentation, documentation, and real experience.
Some of my earliest work involved multiple assets and ecosystems. I ran several investigations at the same time, while keeping Boris as my primary sandbox.
Boris was important because that's where I learned.
I wasn't learning everything from a demo environment.
I put real money into my learning process, documented what happened, and went back through the records.
That became one of my most important principles:

April 29–30
Before the incident, my setup was relatively simple.
Binance was the exchange I was using.
I had BNB in Flex Earn and approximately $24 in USDT that I intended to keep available for future activity.
Then I came back.
The assets weren't where I expected them to be.
The first question wasn't complicated:
Where did they go?
According to the records I was reviewing, the activity involved USDT and BNB and movement between different parts of the account and blockchain environment.
There were transaction records.
There were wallet addresses.
There were timestamps.
There were things I understood—and things I didn't.
I didn't want to make up the missing pieces.
I wanted to follow the trail.

The Investigation Became the Education
That investigation changed how I looked at crypto.
I began following transaction IDs.
Then wallets.
Then connected wallets.
Then ecosystems.
Then contracts.
Then the relationships between them.
One answer created another question.
One transaction created another lead.
Eventually, I wasn't simply trying to recover an asset.
I was learning how the infrastructure worked.
That's where the idea of signals became important to me.
A signal isn't automatically proof.
If an ecosystem appears to classify an address as significant, perhaps even treating it as a “whale,” while the visible balance doesn't appear to explain that classification, the important question isn't:
“Therefore I'm a whale.”
The question is:
“Why is the system generating that signal?”
That distinction matters.
A signal must be investigated.

The Breadcrumb Wallet
During my research I also developed what I call the Breadcrumb Wallet concept.
The purpose was to understand information exposure and whether deliberately documented information could appear somewhere it shouldn't.
I documented the experiment.
I kept records.
I observed what happened.
And I learned something important:
Defensive investigation and unauthorized hacking are not the same thing.
I don't want Crypto Warriors teaching retaliation.
I don't want people attacking systems.
I don't want people stealing information.
I want people learning how to investigate responsibly.
Trace. Document. Verify. Defend.

The Moment My Thinking Changed
I'll be honest.
My first emotional reaction to something like this is anger.
You lose something.
You don't understand why.
You feel powerless.
Your first thought can become:
“How do I get them back?”
But eventually I realized that wasn't the question I wanted to spend my life answering.
The better question was:
“What actually happened?”
That changed everything.
The investigation became education.
The frustration became documentation.
And the documentation became Crypto Warriors.

What Is Crypto Warriors?
Crypto Warriors isn't supposed to be another crypto hype machine.
I'm not interested in promising somebody a 100X.
I'm not interested in pretending every token is going to make somebody rich.
I'm interested in teaching people how to look.
Observe.
Document.
Question.
Verify.
Learn.
That's the heart of my framework.
AI became part of that process.
I learned that an AI assistant can become extremely useful when you use it to organize information, challenge assumptions, compare evidence, and help document a long investigation.
But AI isn't the evidence.
The evidence is the evidence.
That's an important distinction.

The 103 Days
For 103 days, I kept going.
There were moments when I was overwhelmed.
There were moments when I stepped away.
There were moments when I came back and looked at the same information from a completely different perspective.
That taught me something about investigation:
Sometimes you need distance before you can see the pattern.
I went backward.
That's unusual.
Most people want to move forward.
I wanted to reconstruct the past.
Transaction by transaction.
Wallet by wallet.
Question by question.
That's why I call this:

I Didn't Become a Hacker
One of the biggest misconceptions I want to prevent is the idea that learning cybersecurity means becoming a hacker.
No.
There are legitimate security researchers.
There are defenders.
There are investigators.
There are people who test systems with authorization.
There are people who work under contracts and legal frameworks.
That's the direction I respect.
At one point I imagined an anti-hacker system that could identify suspicious activity and help trace an incident.
The emotional version of that idea was retaliation.
The mature version is defense.
If something like that is ever built, it should be built legally and responsibly.
No unauthorized access.
No malware.
No retaliation.
No revenge.
Just technology designed to protect people.

The Streets Need Education Too
I'm proud of where I came from.
And that's part of why Crypto Warriors exists.
People from ordinary neighborhoods deserve access to technology education.
People who don't have formal credentials can still learn.
People who have struggled can still create.
People who hit rock bottom don't have to become destructive.
That's one of the biggest lessons I've learned.
If you're struggling, redirect your attention.
Learn something.
Create something.
Research something.
Make music.
Write.
Take care of yourself.
Find a constructive place for your mind to go.
I'm not claiming those things magically solve serious problems.
I'm saying they can give somebody a direction to move in.
That's what happened to me.

My Biggest Lesson
The biggest thing I learned wasn't about one wallet.
It wasn't about one transaction.
It wasn't even about one exchange.
It was about mindset.
You can spend your energy trying to destroy something.
Or you can spend that same energy learning how it works.
I chose learning.
And eventually I discovered something I didn't expect.
I had found my niche.
Crypto education.
Not because I knew everything.
Because I knew what it felt like to not know—and I wanted to document the process of learning.

The Creator
Before crypto, I was already creating.
Music.
Images.
Stories.
Digital experiments.
I used older creative tools long before today's AI boom.
MS Paint was part of my creative history.
So was digital publishing.
So was music creation.
Eventually AI became another instrument.
I created my own musical identity around combinations of Southern Trap, Cumbia Rap, West Coast influences, Synthwave, and what I call Nogalito Sound.
That's important because my story isn't only blockchain.
It's creativity.
Crypto became one part of a much larger creative system.

What Does MF Jones Want People to Understand?
That you don't need to become somebody else.
You don't need to pretend you're a millionaire.
You don't need a Lamborghini.
You don't need to manufacture an image.
You can be the person who came from the streets, put on the fitted hat, put on the boots, learned the technology, and started documenting.
That's enough.
Your value doesn't come from pretending.
It comes from what you actually build.

During these 103 days, some of what I said came out raw.
I was frustrated.
I was angry.
I felt pushed against the wall.
If I intentionally hurt somebody's feelings, I apologize.
That wasn't the mission.
The mission was to understand what happened.
And I still believe that disagreement doesn't require destruction.
We can investigate.
We can challenge.
We can criticize.
We can learn.
And we can still keep our humanity.

I don't want the next generation of internet heroes to be defined by hacking.
We've been talking about hackers for decades.
I want the next generation to be defined by builders.
Researchers.
Creators.
Educators.
Defenders.
Documentarians.
People who can walk into a complicated system and say:

Where did my asset go?
