Honestly, whenever a new "privacy coin" launches, I usually just scroll past. Most of them are just hype around "hidden transactions" with zero answer for the regulatory side. But Dusk feels a bit different, and I think that's exactly why not enough people are paying attention.
The idea is simple: your transaction stays private, but if it's ever needed — an auditor, a regulator, some compliance check — the user can cryptographically prove where the funds came from, without exposing the entire transaction history publicly. That's the "selective disclosure" concept. Sounds small, but it's actually the exact gap that's gotten a lot of earlier privacy projects into regulatory trouble.
And this isn't just theory. NPEX (a Dutch exchange) has already brought €200 million+ in tokenized securities onto Dusk. That means a real institution is putting actual money into this infrastructure — not just whitepaper promises. DuskEVM also makes it easy for Ethereum developers to migrate over, which is a pretty practical move for adoption.
I'm not fully sure what $DUSK does price-wise short term, honestly nobody really knows. But the team building infrastructure where privacy and compliance actually coexist is solving a real problem, not just chasing a trend.
@Dusk is worth keeping an eye on. #dusk
