According to Jin10, Capital Economics senior Asia economist Gareth Leather said in a report that most Asian economies are expected to post solid growth in 2026 despite rising oil prices amid the Middle East conflict. He added that the region's GDP growth has remained strong so far, with electronics exports rising more than 50% year on year, and that strong electronics export momentum may continue in the near term. He said strong demand for AI-related products will help offset the impact of higher oil prices.
