Golden Finance reported that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman warned that the U.S. government is waging a “war” on cryptocurrencies and wants to “control” Bitcoin. I am very concerned about how far state surveillance will go and am “super opposed” to central bank digital currencies (CBDC). I'm excited about Bitcoin and I think the idea that we have a global currency that's not controlled by any government is a very logical and important step.
