In a strategic move, Binance, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has launched a specific domain for its users in the United Kingdom.

This decision arises in response to the update of the Financial Promotions Regime in the country, a sign of Binance's commitment to regulatory compliance. The platform has also partnered with Rebuildingsociety.com Limited, an FCA regulated company, to improve its compliance with new regulations and communication materials related to cryptocurrencies.

The new domain will allow UK users to access a wide range of services, including fiat and cryptocurrency transactions, spot trading, margin trading, and NFT market participation.

However, starting October 8, 2023, some services, such as gift cards and educational resources, will no longer be available to UK retail users.

Importantly, the new regulatory regime provides for certain exemptions for institutional and professional investors, meaning that these specific categories of investors will continue to have access to a broader range of services.

This strategy represents a significant change in Binance's approach towards the UK market, especially after previous regulatory warnings issued by the FCA.
