PANews reported on October 5 that the POL token contract will be launched on the Goerli testnet. In the coming weeks, Polygon will share the first step of the new proposed governance of Polygon 2.0, the core of which will be a new ecosystem committee composed of thought leaders and technical experts. Polygon Labs released three proposals on the Polygon 2.0 upgrade and POL token migration, including the upgrade transition, the upgraded Polygon 2.0 architecture specifications, and the update of its native token. The final Polygon 2.0 upgrade is expected to take place next year.
