[Enjin community members can earn additional ENJ through the early governance reward program]
Enjin Wallet launches governance function to provide users with participation rights
Starting October 2, Enjin Wallet has enabled governance and staking features in its mobile app. Users can update to version 2.5.1 to participate in this feature.
Through this feature, Enjin wallet users can stake ENJ tokens into the nomination pool as part of the blockchain consensus. Now, users can influence the development of the blockchain by voting for verification nodes, and the more ENJ staked, the greater the voting weight.

Here are the important things to know about using this feature:
- Updated to the latest Enjin wallet version.
- Click "Bind ENJ" on the main interface and select the nomination pool to join.
- Minimum bonding required is 10,000 ENJ.
- Equity rewards are calculated daily.
- Unbundling takes 72 hours, so plan ahead.
- Only bound ENJs can vote, leaving some available ENJs.
- The bound ENJ confers governance rights and contributes to decentralization.

Enjin is also offering bonus tokens to early participants. Specific rewards include:
- The first three nomination pools to reach ENJ 500 million bond will receive a reward of ENJ 50 million.
- All bonded nomination pools before November 1st will be allocated 150 million ENJ in proportion to ENJ.
- The first wallet to participate in the governance proposal receives an airdrop of 100 million ENJ.

Enjin sees this as a step toward decentralization, giving community members a greater say in the future of the blockchain. Although the Enjin price has fallen by 4.83% in the past month, in the long term, it is relatively resilient to the overall performance of the crypto market and is expected to have a good return on investment as the blockchain continues to develop.
