🚨 #BounceBit, after exploiting $3 million, permanently SHUTS DOWN the Layer 1 blockchain and migrates to BNB Chain.
An attacker took advantage of an authorization vulnerability to transfer 286.5 million #BB tokens from nine accounts; private keys or wallets were not compromised in any way.
BounceBit will retire the chain, cancel unauthorized transfers using a snapshot taken before the attack, and reissue BB on BNB Chain as a BEP-20 token; owners are expected to receive the new tokens automatically.
