According to Foresight News, Ethereum L2 Morph has officially launched its Holesky testnet. The testnet, designed to enhance performance and infrastructure, is fully compatible with the upcoming mainnet in terms of functionality and performance. It serves as a preview of all the features planned for the mainnet, facilitating a seamless transition in the future.

The new features of this testnet include the implementation of EIP-4844's Optimistic zkEVM integration, which significantly reduces transaction costs. It also introduces a redesigned cross-chain mechanism that allows users to complete withdrawals in a single transaction. A decentralized sorter network ensures security and reliability. Plans are also in place to build a new economic model around this network, launching a series of market-first features to set standards.

User interaction contributions on the Morph Holesky testnet will be recorded. Contracts on the Morph Sepolia testnet are still accessible, but developers are advised to transition to the Morph Holesky testnet.
