The UK has signed a significant mineral cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan, according to Jin10. This move is part of the UK's ongoing efforts to diversify its sources of critical mineral resources. The agreement was signed by UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on Thursday. Previously, the UK government highlighted in its Critical Minerals Strategy released last year that 22 out of the 36 minerals produced by Kazakhstan are deemed essential for the UK.
