HERRAMIENTAS DE PROTECCIÓN: Take Profit, Stop Loss y Trailing Stop
En el trading, la gestión de riesgos es el pilar de la supervivencia. Estas tres herramientas permiten establecer controles automáticos sobre sus posiciones, eliminando el factor emocional de la ecuación:
🎯 1. STOP LOSS (SL): Su red de seguridad
Es el nivel de salida si el mercado se mueve en su contra. No representa una derrota, sino una decisión técnica para limitar pérdidas y evitar liquidaciones.
Ejemplo: Shot con precio de entrada 0,4573 | SL en 0,46
Resultado: Pérdida controlada y capital preservado para la próxima oportunidad.
🎯 2. TAKE PROFIT (TP): Asegurar lo ganado
Es la orden automática para cerrar una operación en beneficio. Ayuda a neutralizar la codicia, asegurando ganancias antes de que la tendencia se agote.
Ejemplo: Shot con precio de entrada 0,4573 | TP en 0,25
Resultado: Beneficio materializado sin depender de la vigilancia constante.
🎯 3. TRAILING STOP: Dejar correr la tendencia
Esta herramienta ajusta el nivel de cierre a medida que el precio se mueve a su favor. Si el mercado sube, su Stop Loss sube con él; si el precio retrocede, la posición se cierra protegiendo la ganancia acumulada.
Ejemplo: OPG en short con precio de marca en 0,2693 y Trailing Stop de 1%
- OPG baja a 0,2650 → el stop se ajusta a 0,2676 (1% por encima del nuevo mínimo)
- OPG baja a 0,2600 → el stop baja a 0,2626
- OPG sube a 0,2626 → la operación se cierra automáticamente
Resultado: dejas correr la ganancia cuando aciertas y limitas lo que devuelves cuando el mercado se va en contra.
En el mercado no sobrevive quien más acierta, sino quien mejor gestiona el riesgo cuando el escenario cambia. La clave es controlar las pérdidas y permitir que las ganancias respiren.
