Golden Finance reported that the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) added another batch of cryptocurrency wallets of individuals and companies to its Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list on Tuesday, all of which were related to the illegal fentanyl trade. Currently, six entities and their digital wallet addresses have been marked by the government, including five individuals and one company, Valerian Labs. In OFAC's action, a total of 17 wallet addresses were identified, covering networks such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tron. Most of the illegal transactions on the latter two blockchains were received through stablecoins. In addition to Valerian Labs, the wallets of these five people are hosted on the same centralized cryptocurrency exchange, where each of them received "hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cryptocurrency." The transactions in question have not been confirmed.
