Palau government officials showed a live demo of the Palau Stablecoin on XRPL in the first phase of a pilot project with Ripple. Jay Hunter Anson, FinTech Project Manager at the Palau Ministry of Finance, recently shared a live demonstration of the use of the Palau Stablecoin (PSC) on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The Palau Stablecoin is a digital asset whose value is fixed to the US dollar and residents can use it like fiat currency. The goal of the project is to make payments cheaper, faster, and easier, especially for people in remote areas to gain financial inclusion.
