$TRUMP $XAU The Strait of Hormuz under surveillance.. 33.7 million barrels since the beginning of the week Crude oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz have reached about 33.7 million barrels so far during the week that began on September 20, according to preliminary vessel-tracking data from Kpler. This suggests that oil exports are moving at roughly the same level as the previous week, as data continues to change before the week is completed. The data showed that oil movement recorded so far involved 19 tankers, including 17 very large crude carriers of the VLCC type, each of which can carry about two million barrels. Most tankers were loaded with Saudi crude, followed by shipments from Iraq. Total crude oil loaded through the Strait of Hormuz during the previous full week was 49.2 million barrels.
