Breaking: Huobi HTX is being “blacklisted” by an increasing number of exchanges ⚠️
On October 16, Bitget announced tighter deposit and withdrawal controls for sanctioned platforms:
🔹 Deposits to Bitget directly from platforms on the list, or withdrawals from Bitget to those platforms, will be rejected, and accounts may be terminated outright
🔹 The list explicitly names HTX (Huobi Global SA), along with EXMO, BitPapa, A7 and others—a total of around 20 entities
🔹 Reports say the list had 16 entities in August and has now grown to 20
This didn’t come out of nowhere: in May this year, the UK added Huobi Global S.A. to its sanctions list, and the EU later introduced related transaction restrictions. Some community members have already reported that their accounts were closed after depositing funds from HTX. There are also reports that several other major platforms are likewise tightening fund transfers involving HTX. Check each platform’s official announcements for details.
If you still have assets on HTX, don’t rush to “transfer them directly to another exchange.” Check the rules of your destination platform first to avoid having your account caught up in the restrictions.
