I didn’t expect this: the busiest contracts by trading volume on Binance aren’t all crypto anymore 📊

Someone put together some stats shortly after 8 a.m. today, looking at the top 20 USDT contracts by trading volume over the past 24 hours:
🔹 13 of the 20 were contracts related to stocks, ETFs, or commodities; only 7 were crypto-only
🔹 AMD, SanDisk, SK Hynix, gold, and crude oil all made the list
🔹 But together, those 13 accounted for only about 36.4% of the top 20’s trading volume—the bulk still came from BTC and ETH

The ranking screenshot makes it clear: BTCUSDT led with about $10.9 billion, followed by ETHUSDT at about $8.4 billion. Close behind were the leveraged semiconductor ETF (SOXL) at around $2.4 billion and gold at around $1.87 billion. SanDisk, crude oil, and SK Hynix each also topped $1 billion.

This points to two things: first, chip stocks and oil prices have been so volatile this week that many people are trading US stocks and commodities directly on Binance using USDT-margined contracts; second, crypto capital hasn’t left—it’s just being put to use in a wider range of markets.

If you could trade BTC, gold, and chip stocks all from one account, would you allocate part of your position to them?
