Just now, Ethereum lost $2,400 again—its second time this week 📉
This latest overnight dip came with a few telling numbers:
🔹 ETH fell below $2,400, with an intraday low of around $2,390
🔹 BTC also briefly dropped below $81,000, hitting a low of around $80,700
🔹 Around $157 million in positions were liquidated across the market in about four hours, including roughly $141 million in long positions—about 90% of the total
Two signals that don’t quite line up are worth watching:
First, fund flows: spot Ethereum ETFs saw net outflows of around $542 million last week. The rebound from around $2,320 in recent days looks more like a short-term push, with no clear return of institutional money.
Second, sentiment: the Fear & Greed Index is still at 63, in “Greed” territory, even as prices have already started to weaken.
Technically, the first support to watch below is the previous low of around $2,315 from October 16. Above, $2,470–$2,500 is the first hurdle for a rebound. Liquidity tends to be thin over the weekend, and highly leveraged longs are often the first to get liquidated.
Do you think ETH can hold above $2,300 and bounce, or is another leg down still ahead?
