Foresight News reports that Bybit recently announced that, according to India's tax framework, virtual digital asset service providers must charge Indian residents an 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST) on service fees and transaction fees. To comply with this requirement, Bybit will start imposing GST on certain services from July 7, 2025. Users will be able to see the GST amount charged and the corresponding fees in their transaction history.
Additionally, Bybit will cease to offer traditional cryptocurrency loans, Bybit cards, spot grid bots, DCA bots, futures grid bots, and futures portfolio bots to Indian customers starting from July 9 at 16:00.
