According to Wu, the Cetus Protocol will go live again on June 8, 2025, at 3:00 UTC. Users will regain full functionality, including trading, liquidity management, and reward collection. To supplement liquidity, the team has taken three measures: first, recovering the attacker’s assets and completing rebalancing through on-chain voting by Sui validators; second, using the team’s total funds of approximately $7 million to purchase missing assets; third, obtaining a $30 million USDC loan from the Sui Foundation. The total compensation for CETUS accounts for 15% of the token supply, with 5% available for collection at launch, and the remaining 10% will be unlocked linearly over the next 12 months. The official commitment is not to issue more tokens and to slightly adjust the release plan. In the future, any recovered assets will be used to continue compensating users or to buy back CETUS.
