Bitcoin whales have only transferred $3.27 billion in BTC to Binance in the past 30 days. This figure marks the lowest whale inflow since November 2024, according to CryptoQuant. Thus, this drop signals decreasing sell pressure from large holders. Fewer coins entering the trading order book typically reinforces stronger price support.

Bitcoin Whales Continue to Hold

CryptoQuant analyst JA Maartunn explains that during the price increases in March and November 2024, the inflow of whale money surged above $6.17 billion and $8.44 billion. Those peaks coincided with strong pullbacks, as whales locked in gains at higher prices.

Furthermore, the decrease in whale deposits suggests that holders currently prefer to hold onto or move coins off the exchange. Many may transfer BTC to cold storage or OTC trading venues, reducing visible supply.

As a result, the market faces tighter liquidity. Lower sell walls on Binance create room for price increases. Traders often view this as a bullish context.

In terms of price, Bitcoin recently rose to around $104,000. That price increase found partial support due to large-scale sell orders failing to materialize. Last week, CryptoQuant data showed that 'new Bitcoin whales' hold a significant amount of capital.

These whales have purchased at an average price of $91,922, so they may want to sell at a much higher price.

However, macro factors still influence the market direction. Fed policy decisions, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events could trigger sudden increases in supply.

Additionally, on-chain metrics indicate that long-term holders are increasing their positions. Such accumulation often occurs before sustained price rallies, as coins truly disappear from the circulating supply.

However, whale activity being restrained does not ensure uninterrupted profits. Retail sentiment, derivative positioning, and institutional capital flows can reignite volatility.

Ultimately, the lowest inflow in the past six months of whale money to Binance reflects the temporary confidence of large holders.

If whales maintain this restraint, Bitcoin could find a more solid footing above $100,000. However, market watchers will monitor any changes in whale behavior for early warnings of shifts in sentiment.
