According to Foresight News, early Ethereum developer Eric Conner stated that as Vitalik Buterin gradually steps back, the opacity of the Ethereum Foundation and the sense of disconnection from the community are becoming increasingly strong.

Eric pointed out that the foundation currently presents a 'defeatist and competitive mindset,' leading many community members to question whether to continue staying. He believes that leadership, culture, and community are all very important.

However, the foundation is more focused on 'goodwill' and emotional issues rather than understanding the community's demands for change. Eric said he may have lost his passion for Ethereum, but still hopes for its success.
