#October 🍂📊 Is October really a month for crypto to rally? When reviewing Bitcoin performance in October from 2013 to 2025, we find that BTC ended the month up in 10 out of 13 years, while it fell in only 3 years.
But there’s a point more important than just BTC going up 👇
📈 When Bitcoin starts rising, liquidity often moves into it first.
Then if BTC stabilizes and the market cap continues to grow, while Bitcoin dominance (BTC.D) starts to decline, liquidity can gradually shift from BTC to ETH and then to altcoins.
That’s what makes watching October different from simply waiting for prices to rise:
BTC ↑ + BTC.D ↑
➡️ Liquidity tends to go to Bitcoin.
BTC ↑ + BTC.D steady/↓
➡️ The likelihood of liquidity rotating into altcoins becomes clearer.
BTC stable + BTC.D ↓ + Altcoin volumes ↑
➡️ This is when altcoin movement becomes more important.
🔥 So it’s not enough to say: "October = a rally."
The most important question is:
Will Bitcoin lead the market on its own, or will capital start rotating toward altcoins?
Historically, October has been a strong month for BTC, but history doesn’t guarantee the same scenario will repeat. Current data is what determines the next phase.
