【Structure Watch #030|$JCT 4H】Highs and lows are both moving up, with price hugging the top of the range Previous check-in: The JCT range I marked today at 09:07 was 0.004546–0.007194. The current price of 0.007109 is still within it, and neither boundary has been touched. At 20:01, the current price was 0.0071, up 87.33% over 24 hours, with a trading volume of 638 million U. The intraday range was 0.0036–0.0083. ① Structure: Over the latest 30 candles, both the highs and lows have been rising. The range is 0.0018–0.0073, with a width of 306.6%. The current price is at the 97th percentile of the range, essentially hugging the upper boundary. MA25 is at 0.0049, below the current price, and its slope over the latest 5 candles is +11.39%—the moving average itself is trending upward. ② Volume and price: Volume over the latest 10 candles is 1.54 times that of the previous 30, a clear increase. Of the latest 10 candles, 5 closed higher, so the number of up and down candles is evenly split. This suggests the rally hasn't been a steady climb; there has been some turnover along the way. ③ Confluence: There is only one source above, around 0.0073–0.0074, so its reliability should be discounted. Below, the 0.0052–0.0066 area has two overlapping sources: the previous low at 0.0066 and the 0.382 Fib level at 0.0052. This area is a more concrete reference than the one above. ④ Fund flows: The funding rate is +0.0616%, meaning longs are paying; open interest is up 22.27% over 7 4-hour candles, so positions are increasing; and the long/short account ratio is 0.67. Funding, open interest, and the account ratio don't fully align. Structurally, price has moved first, while account numbers have yet to catch up. Watch zones: 0.0073–0.0074 above; 0.0052–0.0066 below. 1H view: The range over the past 12 hours is 0.0058–0.0083. The latest close is at the 54th percentile, in the middle of the range—not near either boundary. Invalidation conditions: If a 4H candle closes above 0.0074 or below 0.0052, this assessment is invalidated. The 0.0073–0.0074 zone above has only one source. When I look at it, I treat it as a reference rather than a hard level; the position you mark may differ from mine. This is a structural record based on public data, not investment advice. Trading Journal #030 Last record checked: As of the time of this check, BTC is 76899.15000000 USDT—below the original record of 78439.49000000 USDT—an change of -1.96%. For ordinary traders who see the price moving down, the abnormal thought is: if it falls below the old level, should it be a buy again? This check can only confirm the price relationship in front of us. There was no intermediate quote; I don’t know whether it crossed that old line during the interval, I don’t know the quote at the historically agreed time, and I can’t infer closing or volume expansion from these two prices. -1.96% is only the relative price change versus the original record—it isn’t a return. The facts that can be written here are narrow; the further you speculate, the easier it is to fill in the blanks with a story. Price on the day: BTC 76899.15000000 This drill handles only one judgment: if the price is below the last record, can we directly treat it as a “buy-back” signal? My answer is: not yet. The current quote being below the old line only indicates the position is lower. It doesn’t tell me that the down move has ended, and it doesn’t give a next direction. Rewriting “cheap” as “opportunity” actually smuggles in a prediction in the middle. My choice: wait. The trigger condition is that BTC breaks upward above this price line, and then the next observation is still above this line. Before the condition appears, I won’t chase the buy just because the price falls below the last record, and I won’t change the condition because of the hot-search chatter about fast rallies and selloffs. This is a decision drill for ordinary traders—recording what I wait for and what I give up. It’s not order advice for anyone. Waiting has a cost. If the price first moves up for a stretch, the drill will miss that volatility; if the price keeps falling, waiting won’t automatically prove the judgment correct. I’m willing to bear this cost because, right now, there isn’t enough evidence for me to upgrade “below the old line” into “will rebound immediately.” Looking back later, all that needs asking is one question: did the conditions I set actually occur? No need to remake reasons based on the outcome. Next-day review: Tomorrow at 09:30, only watch for BTC to break upward above 76899.15000000. If, at the time of observation, the price returns to below that number, the waiting judgment is invalid.
