The best NY pizza I’ve ever had isn’t even in New York
I ate here so much me and the owner became friends, and I now get to try their unreleased flavors like: - pickle and dill pizza - pineapple jam guanciale - and the latest beef stew pizza
tell me your favorite pizza flavor and ill rate it
i think decentralized social media is losing the plot a little
if we use outages as our reasoning for their existence, what do we do when instagram is down? we go to x. when x is down we (happily) take a break and touch grass
if its our data, then why do we (willingly) post about our lives, finances, homes, children in the first place?
Been thinking about analogies and found that trading is exactly like chess
Chess and trading is: - Zero-sum (one side’s gain = the other’s loss) - About positioning, not brute force (unless you own majority of the pieces) - Deterministic rules, but strategic depth - In crypto, it's all public information (the board is visible) - Slippage = overextending your pieces
Even when we think about the pieces! Starting Piece → Retail capital, small, many, easy to lose to stronger pieces Knights → Speculative trades, high upside, tricky paths Bishops → Loooong-term theses, strong on diagonals (macro narratives) Rooks → Institutions / large liquidity, powerful but slow to reposition Queen → Leverage, Extremely powerful, extremely dangerous, use wisely... King → Solvency / risk management, Lose it, game over
Every move is information, every trade changes the board
What analogy has helped you perform better in this market?
why do we rip pokémon packs instead of just buying the card we want? because my brain doesn’t want the gengar it wants the possibility of gengar. There’s a term for it, anticipatory dopamine, which means the anticipation is the true pull
our ancestors crossed oceans not knowing what they’d find, sometimes it was food. sometimes it was death. curiousity helped us evolve.
don't lie to yourself it's why we're all in this space, the uncertainty is part of the attraction.
so, i'll be pulling cards until I get a gengar (shoutout Beezie on #Base follow me and i'll document the journey
Working on a new video about Pokemon cards, coming out soon. It's also my first time using Capcut on desktop and the way it doesn't crash on me every 2 minutes like on the phone is lifechanging
we're already 3.7% done with 2026, how often do you work on your goals?
This year I'm focusing on 1) getting fit, playing more tennis, doing more pullups 2) becoming a better creator, post more videos, write more articles 3) create and consume, read more books 4) experiment! become a claude pro
Based on yesterday's comments people love to hate #Bangkok
But where else can you get: - daily sauna and steam room - the worlds best food a scooter-ride away - oatmilk in every coffee shop - and for the girlies, gel nails cost $50 USDC!!! That's unheard of
many more reasons we should all move to thailand
