How to Report a Discord Admin
1. Enable Developer Mode:
ā¢ Go to User Settings > Advanced.
ā¢ Toggle on Developer Mode. This allows you to copy the necessary IDs.
2. Copy the Required IDs:
ā¢ User ID: Right-click the admin's username and select "Copy User ID."
ā¢ Message Link: Click the three dots (More) next to a message that proves the scam and select "Copy Message Link."
ā¢ Server ID: Right-click the server name/icon and select "Copy Server ID."
3. Submit the Official Report:
ā¢ Go to the Discord Support Form.
ā¢ Under "How can we help?", select Trust & Safety.
ā¢ Under "Report Type," choose Fraud or illegal activities.
Tips for a Successful Report
ā¢ Don't rely only on screenshots: Discord usually doesn't accept screenshots as primary evidence because they can be faked. They need Message Links and IDs to verify their internal logs.
ā¢ Be specific: Mention that it is an "Investment Scam" or "Crypto Fraud."
